Thank you to the 128 parents and carers who completed our Summer 2026 parent survey. Your feedback helps us celebrate what is working well, understand families’ experiences and identify where we can continue to improve.

Summer 2026 Survey Highlights

Four Summer 2026 parent survey highlights: 100% said the school is well led and managed; 99% said their child is happy; 99% said their child feels safe; and 99% would recommend Laleham.

What Families Value Most

Caring and approachable staff

The strongest recurring message was that staff know, welcome and care for children and families.

Strong teaching and high expectations

Parents recognised the commitment of teachers, the quality of classroom practice and the encouragement children receive to achieve.

Community and belonging

Families value Laleham’s welcoming, inclusive atmosphere and the strong sense that children are known as individuals.

Sport, music and enrichment

Trips, clubs, performances, sport, music and practical experiences were repeatedly identified as distinctive strengths.

Visible and positive leadership

Parents praised the visibility and approachability of leaders, improved communication and the positive direction of the school.

Christian ethos and values

Kindness, care, respect, worship and the school’s Christian character remain important to many families.

Clearer information about progress

We will review how we share individual progress, next steps and practical ways families can support learning at home.

Clubs and wider opportunities

We will continue reviewing the breadth, timing and accessibility of clubs and enrichment, particularly for younger pupils.

Clear and targeted communication

We will build on the strong overall communication rating by making messages as timely, accurate and relevant as possible.

Support and challenge for every child

We will continue strengthening inclusive classroom practice, targeted support and appropriate challenge across the attainment range.

How the figures were calculated: Survey percentages are based on respondents who expressed a view. Blank responses and ‘Don’t Know/Not Applicable’ answers have been excluded. This is particularly important for questions about bullying and concerns, where many families did not have direct experience on which to comment.
