Laleham Church of England Primary School
Our school benefits from a thriving parent teacher association (PTA) which is known as Friends of Laleham School (FoLS). Parents and family members in the school community automatically become members of FoLS and are warmly invited to attend meetings and support events which take place throughout the year.
FoLS exists to bring parents and staff together to raise funds to provide facilities and equipment which support the school. If you look around the school you will see so much that FoLS have bought or contributed to, these include the fantastic library, sound and lighting system in the school hall, playground markings, ipads, computers and so much more.
We Can Only Do This With Your Help and Support
Here are some ways you can help to support the school:
Meetings
Please do come along to our meetings as we would love you to get involved! All meetings and dates are shared in the newsletter and via your class reps.
Events
We hold numerous events throughout the year such as a Christmas and Summer fair, the January Jive, Fathers day and Mothers day gift sales, Bags2School collections just to mention a few. Parents will be notified of these events via Arbor.
Second Hand Uniform Sales
We hold regular second-hand uniform sales after school in the playground. This is a great opportunity for parents to purchase good quality second-hand uniform at a vastly reduced cost. We usually raise around £500 per year from these sales.
We hope to be able to request donations once covid restrictions have been lifted and we can begin holding sales.

Did you know that whenever you buy anything online - from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising a free donation for Friends of Laleham School? There are nearly 3,000 retailers on board ready to make a donation, including Amazon, John Lewis, Aviva, thetrainline and Sainsbury's – it doesn't cost you a penny extra!
It's really simple, all you have to do is:

2. Shop - Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first, pick the retailer you want and start shopping.
3. Raise - After you’ve checked out, that retailer will make a donation to your good cause for no extra cost whatsoever!
