Our children's views on religious education

Reception:

Year 1:  "Judaism – it’s God’s day off after he built it. His day of rest. A synagogue is the Jewish people’s church. They worship in there."

Year 2:  "What we’re learning about in RE is the Jewish festival of Sukkot. We were trying apple and honey to say have a sweet new year. It is traditional to use these ingredients."

Year 3:  "RE, we learnt about Moses and how he rescued the slaves from Egypt to the Promise Land."

Year 4:  "I really like RE; I like learning about the Passover. We learned about different types of food involved in a Passover meal and what they signify!"

Year 5:  "I know lots about Sikhism, such as gurus."

Year 6:  "We were learning about the Passover, Abraham and the 10 plagues."
