Our children's views on history

Reception: "We have enjoyed learning about our school year timeline and looking back to see our learning of the past!"

Year 1:  "I like learning about Flight and aeroplanes. We’ve used a timeline to put planes in chronological order."

Year 2:  "We learnt about the Great Fire of London – The fire started on Pudding Lane and the year was in 1666."

Year 3:  "We learnt about the Stone Age and Greek Gods. Hades is my favourite."

Year 4:  "I love learning about the Romans."

Year 5:  "I liked learning about the Tudors and Henry VIII."

Year 6:  "We have learnt about the Blitz, the Holocaust and the battle of Britain. We had a WWII day. The bit where the man came in and showed us all the stuff was great."
