Supporting Our Families with Online Safety

At Laleham, keeping our children safe, both in school and online, is one of our top priorities. As part of our ongoing commitment to digital safety, we are delighted to announce that we have signed up to the Knowsley City Learning Centres (CLCs) Online Safety Programme.

Through this partnership, we will be able to provide free access to online safety training, resources, and newsletters designed especially for parents and families.

What This Means for You

  • Regular Parent Newsletters: You’ll receive clear, practical advice on the latest online trends, apps, and potential risks to help you keep your child safe at home.

  • Online Safety Training: Gain access to short, engaging online sessions that help you understand how to support your child’s digital wellbeing.

  • Expert Guidance: All materials are created by online safety specialists who work closely with schools, children, and families across the UK.

Why This Matters

Children today use technology as part of everyday life: at school, for learning and at home for fun and connection. While the internet offers great opportunities, it can also bring challenges such as cyberbullying, privacy issues and inappropriate content.

By working together in home and school partnership, we can help every child learn to use technology safely, responsibly and confidently.

If you have any questions about online safety or would like advice on supporting your child at home, please contact your child's class teacher or Team Leader.
