Starting School
We pride ourselves on our close partnership with our parents and carers, ensuring all our new children settle into school life quickly, feel safe, secure and excited about all the new learning opportunities.
Our children enjoy coming to school and are met and greeted at the main gate daily by two members of our senior leadership team. We also have a team of welcomers who help walk our younger children to their classrooms.
We take our time to get to know each and every child that joins Laleham C of E Primary School, facilitating this through pop in sessions in the summer before they start, orientation visits in early September and a staggered entry. If joining in any other year, we also take the time to get to know you and your child with informal visits prior to joining.
We are always exceptionally proud of our children who, by the end of Year 6, leave us with the confidence, resilience and determination to face any new challenges they may face.
Applications for Reception 2026
Laleham Church of England Primary School invites families to meet the Senior Leadership Team and tour our thriving school set in the heart of Laleham village. With our Christian ethos as the heartbeat of our school, and a strong track record of high achievement across the curriculum, our 'Believe and Achieve' visions leads all we do.
We held daytime tours of the school in the Autumn term for prospective parents.

In Year Applications
If you wish to apply for a place for a child who is already of school age please complete the Requests for Admission form below. Please note we have a waiting list in some year groups and should a space become available, allocations will be based on our Governors Admissions Criteria for September 2025 (copy above).

Requests for Admission Form
Please complete the form below to request an In Year admission or to be added to the waiting list for our September 2025 Reception Intake.
Your request will be passed to our Admissions Officer. If a space is available in the year group required you will be contacted to arrange for you and your child to visit the school to discuss a place and have a tour of the school. If a space is not available you will automatically be added to our waiting list and contacted once a space becomes available.
